Live Prints, Shows and Exhibitions

Coming out of Newtown, the eclectic epicentre of alternative Sydney, we wanted to launch a pop art brand to play with designers and illustrators and speak the language of art and contemporary mood and found that people loved the parties.
After our own opening party 'The Great Arcade T-shirt Party', we then did the opening party for the 'OUTPOST Street art exhibition on Cockatoo Island in Sydney where we remained and live printed for six weeks straight - from there we were addicted. Our parties became exhibitions and we invited artists to print posters and T-shirts over multiple shows over the years exhibiting mew undiscovered talent along with rock star status illustrators with crowds in the hundreds.

The secret sauce being twenty to sixty artists real artists exhibiting, great music, great brews and crowds of art loving fans. Our first real exhibition being 'Rock Screen Paper No1' and our competition record being 128 entries for the 'Pop Screen Tee' - 'Taran-tee-no T-shirt Comp' where every T-shirt had to be hand printed by the artist as an entry.

Needless to say - we love it - and have taught and exhibited hundreds of people on the way and don't intend on stopping as long as there is great art, music and brews to be had and a hungry, hungry crowd.

So look out for our parties (Exhibitions) - you're invited!

OPENING NIGHT

We wanted to play more and felt that the most relevant area to play in was a blend between street art & 'Pop Art'. Pop art was where we could really push metaphorical and physical boundaries and street art as it embraced both fashion, film and music and anything that was contemporary for people on the street. So we rang a few illustrators and started a competition and launched with the 'Great Arcade T-shirt Party'. Working with multiple artists where people chose a design and was printed on their shirts. The comp was won by Ben Wong.

Artists on the night were Esjay, Sebastian Vicaro, James Jirat Patradoon, Ben Lisa Godfrey, Owens, Mike Watt, Onnie Cleary, Anthony Ishinjerro, Manisha Moongold, Anton Benois + more
